Cheese Shop

Open every day 10.30am – 5pm

Closed Christmas Day and Boxing Day

Our cheese shop is located in the original 100 year old milking shed here on the farm, right beside the cheese factory.

Tastings of our fresh handmade cheeses and locally produced wines are encouraged and we stock a range of delicious regional and specialist produce, (some of the best award winning jams and relishes in the country) alongside some beautiful homewares and gift ideas. Our popular cheese plates are accompanied by locally baked fresh breads and various regionally produced charcuterie items are also available to purchase and eat in.

We have many wines available for purchase, either to sip with our wonderful cheeses or to take home. They are produced by the independent winemakers we represent in our cellar door area, along with craft ciders and beers from neighbouring breweries.

Cheese Tastings & Bookings

Cheese tastings of our extraordinary cheeses are available at a cost of $2 per person, redeemable on any purchase of our cheese. Max of 6 people per group please.  Available only Mon – Fri

EAT IN – No bookings are taken for the few tables we do have for eating in.

LARGE GROUPS –  Due to the small scale of our cheese shop, non-tour group bookings for 8-20 people are essential and only taken during the week. A $2 tasting fee applies per person. Tastings are available Monday – Friday (excluding public holidays and the period between Christmas and New Year). Please call our friendly shop staff on 9739 1222 for all enquiries.

Please note, tastings availability is subject to current Covid-19 guidelines.

Eat in

We have a couple of tables available for customers to share and enjoy our popular cheese plates that are accompanied by fresh local breads. To complement these cheese plates, locally farmed smoked trout and regionally made charcuterie items such as terrines, quality smallgoods and duck parfait to name a few. There is also quince paste, spiced figs, cornichons, and local olives – the list goes on.

Each plate is accompanied by local fresh breads and any of the above mentioned charcuterie and accompanying items are also available for purchase to take home. Local wine is available by the glass, as are the bottled beers and ciders from nearby breweries.

The coffee machine is always on serving great coffee and locally produced teas to go with a small selection of sweet treats.

Please note, we do not take table bookings or have outside seating, but simply try your luck for a seat and enjoy an extraordinary view of the Yarra Valley.

Cheese platters in our café finish being served at 4pm. Coffee and tea finish being served at 4.30pm.

In our store we represent around 10 independent winemakers who don’t have their own cellar door facilities. The wines are made in small quantities, with a great deal of passion and knowledge by some of the finest winemakers in the Yarra Valley. Customers have an opportunity to discover these wines that are not easily found outside of the Yarra Valley.

Wines can be purchased by the glass or bottle to accompany our delicious cheeses and fine produce in our Cheese Shop (until 4:30pm).

Please note:  We are only licensed to serve alcohol purchased in our store, so please, no BYO.
